Founded on December 1, 2025, the Grand Duchy of Scandivonia is an independent micronation. It is located on the seabed and covers an area of 34,299 square kilometers, on the land owned by the German Sealord Dietmar von Anders. The exact location of the territory cannot be determined because no coordinates are known. Therefore, the monarch has stipulated that the Grand Duchy lies "southwest of Iceland and west of Ireland."

The Grand Duchy's location on the seabed, outside the territorial waters of any state, guarantees its absolute independence. This unique position is of crucial importance. It protects Scandivonia from external claims of jurisdiction. The Grand Duchy operates without the constraints of other states.

Scandivonia is a micronation that exists to bring people together, experience joy, and share stories about the love of and travel to Scandinavia. The Grand Duke has declared global nature and environmental protection a national objective. Three Rainforest reserves have already been established in Peru for this purpose. A fourth reserve is located in British Columbia, Canada.
